LAWSKI and its History

LAWSKI (formerly the Lawyers Ski and Snowboard Race) has been held annually in Thredbo since 1990.

LAWSKI has grown to the stage where lawyers from all over New South Wales, and across Australia, attend the weekend. The event consists of a 3 day program in Thredbo including a series of social events, a day of competitive ski and snowboard racing, and a black tie presentation dinner.  The event also attracts many non-racing skiers and boarders together with many guests who just enjoy the off mountain/apres events.

LAWSKI is hosted and run on a not-for-profit basis by LAWSKI Inc, an incorporated association represented by a committee who donate their time to organise the event.

The event has attracted consistent support from its incredible sponsors, who have, over many years, been key to the success of the weekend.

Thank you to our current LAWSKI Committee Members.  Feel free to get in touch with them to find out more!
