LAWSKI and its History
LAWSKI (formerly the Lawyers Ski and Snowboard Race) has been held annually in Thredbo since 1990.
The event has grown to the stage where lawyers from all over New South Wales, and interstate, attend the weekend. While the LAWSKI weekend generally reaches its capacity of 350, the race itself attracts nearly 200 lawyers, both skiers and snowboarders, to the starting gate.
The event is hosted and run on a not-for-profit basis by LAWSKI Inc, an incorporated association represented by a committee who donate their time to organise the event.
The event also attracts many non-racing skiers and boarders together with many guests who just enjoy the off mountain/apres events.
You can read more about the specific event details be navigating this website.
The event has attracted consistent support from its incredible sponsors, who have, over many years, been key to the success of the weekend.
